Strategic Planning, Integration Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Oversee strategic planning and integration for intricate enterprise initiatives that span multiple product teams, business sectors, technology domains, and organizational boundaries.

• Convert enterprise priorities into tangible outcomes, strategic decisions, integrated execution methodologies, sequencing, dependencies, decision points, and success metrics.

• Establish structure around uncertain or emerging opportunities by defining problems, identifying stakeholders, assessing options, and suggesting practical paths forward.

• Utilize systems thinking to link business capabilities, products, technologies, operational processes, risks, and organizational dependencies.

• Integrate perspectives from business, product, engineering, operations, security, risk, finance, and other areas to foster alignment.

• Expedite decision-making and eliminate cross-functional obstacles involving competing priorities, unclear ownership, complex dependencies, or differing opinions.

• Recognize and influence essential dependencies, trade-offs, risks, and decision requirements.

• Act as a strategic player-coach and enhance the ability of accountable teams to independently lead similar initiatives.

• Create executive-ready recommendations, presentations, and communications.

• Design and lead strategic working sessions, developing reusable frameworks, playbooks, and operating practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in technology strategy, strategic planning, enterprise integration, transformation, product strategy, management consulting, operating-model design, or equivalent roles.

• Proven experience in leading or influencing complex initiatives that involve multiple teams, business functions, technology domains, and organizational dependencies.

• Strong capabilities in systems thinking and enterprise problem-solving.

• Proficient in framing ambiguous challenges, assessing options, setting direction, and translating broad objectives into actionable strategies.

• Ability to influence without direct authority, navigate cross-functional barriers, and create alignment among stakeholders with competing priorities or differing views.

• Solid business and technology acumen.

• Exceptional written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills.

• Experience in developing executive narratives, recommendations, decision materials, and outcome-oriented communications.

• Capable of managing multiple high-priority engagements, constructively challenging assumptions, and taking ownership of complex tasks with minimal guidance.

• Background investigation required.
