Director, Finance – Payment Integrity

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Direct and negotiate activities within the finance department of the business unit.

• Assist in developing and enforcing the organization's financial policies and procedures.

• Oversee business processes and systems to ensure the integrity of information and systems.

• Supervise the preparation of precise and timely financial reports.

• Review, communicate, and present strategic plans, operational budgets, and forecasts.

• Set targets and metrics aligned with both business unit and corporate objectives.

• Assess program effectiveness and guarantee reporting accuracy.

• Provide financial plans addressing performance variances, operational alternatives, and program and investment initiatives.

• Analyze financial reports for the management team.

• Act as the liaison for the State, corporate, and business unit functions concerning financial issues.

• Keep track of legislative and political developments impacting the business unit from a financial standpoint.

• Coordinate political contribution activities, engage with lobbyists, attend political fundraisers, and ensure adherence to political contribution regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or finance-related roles.

• Prior management experience including responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning tasks, and overseeing staff performance.

• Experience in public accounting, operations, financial analysis, information systems, and healthcare or insurance is preferred.
