Senior Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collect, verify, and structure data from production tracking and financial systems.

• Reconcile payroll and project costs while identifying discrepancies.

• Ensure the accuracy of project cost and estimate databases.

• Assist in calculating revenue recognition and prepare the necessary supporting schedules.

• Monitor actual project performance against budgets and forecasts.

• Aid in month-end and year-end closing activities related to project accounting.

• Support calculations and documentation for production tax credits.

• Keep track of tax credits and update estimates as projects progress.

• Generate ad hoc reports and extract data as needed.

• Maintain regular reports for production and finance teams.

• Prepare client invoices in accordance with contract terms and project milestones for review by the Production Accountant.

• Report directly to the Production Accountant.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• 4 to 7 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, project accounting, auditing, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of reconciliations, month-end closing processes, and basic financial reporting.

• Experience with ERP or accounting systems, such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Tally, or similar.

• Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with data from various sources.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Ability to work remotely while coordinating with a manager in a different time zone.

• Diligent and consistent approach to recurring and detail-oriented tasks.

• Capability to adhere to processes, follow instructions, and manage multiple requests simultaneously.
