Strategic Partnerships Manager – Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily operations and administration of AICD, including member onboarding, scheduling, coordination of meetings, and providing initial support to members.

• Develop and sustain systems that foster member connectivity and collaboration, such as a shared knowledge hub.

• Evaluate tools that facilitate community organization and engagement.

• Organize and implement events while creating resources for members.

• Actively engage with the online member community and other member platforms.

• Directly interact with members to grasp their needs.

• Manage projects related to AICD grant-funded deliverables and ensure timelines are met.

• Coordinate with members and research partners to keep benchmarking initiatives on schedule.

• Propel field resources and materials to completion.

• Assist the AICD lead with presentation materials, meeting notes, collaborative thinking, logistical arrangements, and drafted communications for members.

• Identify and nurture potential strategic members.

• Contribute to a broader field-building strategy.

• Collaborate with the marketing team on member communications, including newsletters and content for the website.

• Stay informed about ecosystem developments relevant to AICD's initiatives.

• Report to the Director of Development and work collaboratively across marketing and partnership teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in partnerships and/or community development, preferably in workforce or career development fields.

• Experience in small or agile organizations, with a focus on developing processes as the organization scales.

• Ability to think systematically, comfortably transitioning between detailed administration and strategic planning.

• Proven track record of successfully managing complex coordination involving multiple stakeholders.

• Experience in managing relationships with senior or influential stakeholders while maintaining clear boundaries.

• Willingness to learn on the job and develop perspectives through practical experience.

• A passion for CareerVillage's mission and a commitment to democratizing career access.

• Applicants must have current authorization to work in the United States.

• Must be available to work from 9 AM to 5 PM in Eastern, Central, or Pacific time zones.

• Permanent, full-time U.S. work authorization is required.
