This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +18 more states.
• Act as the main point of contact with carrier partners regarding product implementation and capacity management.
• Create and sustain product specifications for the development team, converting business and underwriting requirements into technical outputs.
• Oversee the continuous lifecycle of product updates, ensuring accurate communication and implementation of changes across systems and partners.
• Manage underwriting guidelines alongside sales and underwriting teams.
• Lead the implementation and ongoing maintenance of policy forms, ensuring precision and compliance.
• Coordinate and follow up on carrier and regulatory audits, addressing any findings.
• Supervise inquiries from state insurance departments and manage required DOI reporting.
• Design and oversee reports that monitor the health and success of each carrier relationship.
• Present quarterly results to carriers and their reinsurer panels.
• Collaborate with brokers to gather information for annual reinsurance submissions.
• Address broker and reinsurer inquiries for each program.
• Identify and seek new capacity opportunities through carriers, products, or geographic regions.
• Manage carrier relationships comprehensively across Homeowners, Commercial, and Flood segments.
• Experience in carrier management, program management, or product management within the Property & Casualty insurance sector.
• Preferred experience in Homeowners, Commercial, and/or Flood insurance.
• Strong knowledge of underwriting guidelines, policy forms, and the lifecycles of insurance products.
• Familiarity with reinsurance submission processes and broker relationships.
• Experience in liaising with regulatory bodies (DOI) and managing compliance/audit procedures.
• Ability to convert business requirements into clear specifications for development teams.
• Exceptional relationship management, communication, and project coordination abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in MS Office suite.
• Experience with video and chat technologies (MS Teams & Slack).
• Reliable high-speed internet connection is required.
• Designated quiet workspace for remote work.
• Must reside in one of the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Missouri, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, or Wisconsin.
