
Strategic National Accounts Manager β Fire and Fabrication

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Identify, target, and secure national and major regional fire protection contractors, developers, and end-users.
β’ Create tailored sales strategies for customers with multiple locations.
β’ Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), negotiate pricing, and establish national-level agreements.
β’ Participate in Ferguson Large Strategic Project calls and collaborate with all Key Opinion Builders (KOBs) to pinpoint opportunities and achieve project objectives.
β’ Communicate Large Strategic Project opportunities to district leaders to enhance Ferguson Fire's involvement.
β’ Act as the main point of contact for strategic national accounts at corporate, district, and/or regional levels.
β’ Foster and sustain trusted relationships with client organizations, project managers, procurement teams, and Senior Sales managers.
β’ Meet client expectations through proactive communication, performance monitoring, and value delivery.
β’ Work in conjunction with sales, operations, credit, logistics, and fabrication teams to fulfill customer commitments.
β’ Provide insights on market trends and customer feedback regarding service levels, inventory requirements, and delivery performance.
β’ Monitor account performance against sales objectives and generate regular reports for leadership.
β’ Track KPIs, profitability, and pipeline activity using Power BI (PBI) and other sales tools.
β’ At least 5 years of experience in sales or account management, ideally within the fire protection, construction, or industrial distribution sectors.
β’ Demonstrated success in managing large, complex accounts that span multiple sites or have a national presence.
β’ Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
β’ Strong business acumen and comfort in dealing with high-value contracts and strategic accounts.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 50%, as required, to support clients and Ferguson branch teams.
β’ Experience in the fire protection industry or in selling related products is preferred.
β’ Knowledge of fire protection products, NFPA standards, and construction project timelines is advantageous.
β’ Proficiency in Power BI (PBI) is preferred.
