This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee the long-term success of GE’s partnerships in the North East of England Region.
• Cultivate essential relationships with NHS Trusts, private clinics, customers, and partners.
• Market intricate technical medical imaging products, services, and solutions.
• Lead, develop, and execute business development and growth strategies for GE medical imaging solutions, including CT, MI, MR, Surgery, Interventional, X-ray, and Women’s Health.
• Serve as the primary liaison between GE and designated customer accounts, managing customer relationships effectively.
• Analyze customer needs, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to effectively position GE solutions.
• Manage account opportunities, new business initiatives, install-base management, and upgrades.
• Achieve short- and medium-term objectives, annual orders, and sales targets.
• Maintain CRM tools, opportunities, account details, forecasting, and business performance metrics.
• Oversee territory administration, the sales process, lead generation, revenue recognition, and tender management.
• Manage the sales pipeline over an extended timeframe.
• Forge strategic alliances, mitigate competitive threats, and expand target accounts.
• Enhance the customer experience by adopting a customer-centric approach across the organization.
• Operate as a single point of contact for customers within the matrixed organization.
• Collaborate with sales leaders and teams to enhance prospects and secure opportunities.
• Project territory orders and sales, submitting bi-weekly reports.
• Represent GE at trade association meetings.
• Assist the Regional Sales Manager in promoting UKI business, customer satisfaction, orders, revenue, and growth.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) or comparable knowledge or experience in selling medical imaging technology capital goods in the national healthcare sector.
• Diligent and capable of operating at high levels of commercial intensity.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English.
• Strong organizational and presentation capabilities.
• Outstanding interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills.
• Extensive Sales Account Management experience.
• Highly motivated and a collaborative team player.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues to meet customer expectations and create innovative proposals.
• Capacity to deliver high-quality results under pressure.
• Adaptable and willing to travel and work across various locations in the UK.
• Strong customer-facing abilities, including experience engaging with senior management.
• High commercial creativity and business acumen with an entrepreneurial approach.
• Competence in formulating and executing account-level strategies with a 'OneGE' perspective.
• Familiarity with sales and service operational procedures.
• Strong analytical and process-oriented skills.
• Knowledge of products and competitors.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, SFDC, and CRM tools.
• Confidence in collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must reside in the North East of England.
• Experience in commercial large capital equipment sales.
• Demonstrated sales experience in the Imaging Diagnostics field.
• Understanding of the UK medical imaging market.
• Background in the healthcare industry, including knowledge of NHS organization.
