This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the financial business partner across R&D, G&A, and Corporate divisions.
• Take responsibility for complete forecasting cycles, month-end closures, and budget-to-actuals reporting.
• Oversee R&D expenditures, vendor and invoice approvals, headcount planning, non-headcount forecasts, cloud infrastructure cost management, and variance analysis.
• Lead G&A expense forecasting, headcount planning, vendor approvals, month-end closures, variance analysis, and budget-versus-actual reporting.
• Create reporting decks for the board of directors, quarterly financial reviews, and investor presentations.
• Manage billing actualization and forecasting processes.
• Provide monthly financial updates to executive leadership.
• Collaborate with Accounting during soft close, hard close, and results review sessions with budget owners.
• Maintain rolling forecasts, offer variance commentary, and finalize forecasts on a monthly basis.
• Work closely with recruiting, procurement, and department heads on headcount and expenditure decisions.
• Utilize AI tools for streamlining forecasting workflows, variance commentary, and conducting ad-hoc analyses.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in FP&A or strategic finance, preferably within a high-growth SaaS or technology setting.
• Proven experience managing multiple cost centers or business lines concurrently.
• Proficiency in SaaS financial metrics including ARR, NRR, gross margin, CAC, and CLTV.
• Strong capabilities in financial modeling, forecasting, and budget-to-actual analysis.
• Familiarity with enterprise planning tools (such as Pigment, Adaptive, Anaplan, or similar), ERP systems (with a preference for NetSuite), and procurement platforms (like Coupa or equivalent).
• Experience in preparing materials for board meetings, executive presentations, and investor stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently across various stakeholder groups with minimal supervision.
• Excellent business partnering instincts.
• Previous experience in a high-growth, pre-IPO company environment.
• Genuine fluency in AI and active use of AI tools for modeling, analysis, and communication purposes.
• Knowledge of AWS/cloud cost tracking and COGS reporting.
• Experience with HRIS/ATS systems (such as Workday, Ashby, Greenhouse) for managing headcount.
• Must possess legal authorization to work in the country of employment.
