This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Facilitate discovery sessions with client Finance, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Tax, and other stakeholders to collect and document financial requirements for new MSP/VMS implementations.
• Create comprehensive financial operating models encompassing time and expense processing, rate and markup structures, purchase orders and funding, cost allocation, invoicing, supplier payments, fees, credits and adjustments, accruals, tax, currency, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
• Convert financial and commercial requirements into VMS configuration specifications and functional documentation.
• Collaborate with VMS, Technology, and client teams to design and validate financial workflows, rate structures, markups, fees, taxes, accounting dimensions, invoice formats, and payment terms.
• Define and facilitate integrations between VMS and ERP, accounts payable, procurement, timekeeping, and financial reporting systems.
• Oversee the Finance workstream for system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and comprehensive financial testing.
• Develop and execute test scenarios and verify transactions through client invoicing, supplier payment, and ERP/financial reconciliation.
• Ensure financial discrepancies and reconciliation issues are addressed prior to production launch.
• Design future-state accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, reconciliation, reporting, and financial exception-management processes.
• Create SOPs, controls, roles and responsibilities, escalation procedures, and financial KPIs.
• Train Finance and Operations team members and prepare them for go-live.
• Lead financial cutover, initial billing-cycle validation, and post-go-live hypercare activities.
• Guarantee a smooth transition from implementation to steady-state Finance and MSP Operations teams.
• Ensure implemented financial solutions are in line with client contracts, supplier agreements, commercial requirements, and financial controls.
• Identify financial risks, process gaps, and downstream impacts, and drive resolution efforts.
• Establish controls for invoice accuracy, billing timeliness, reconciliation, aging, supplier payments, and financial exceptions.
• Develop functional knowledge of Pinnacle's financial technology ecosystem and leading VMS platforms.
• Manage Finance workstream milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and readiness activities.
• Represent Finance in client implementation meetings and design workshops.
• Coordinate activities across client, Pinnacle, technology, VMS partner, supplier, and implementation teams.
• Assist with special projects and continuous improvement initiatives as needed.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in MSP, VMS, contingent workforce, staffing, workforce solutions, or related financial implementation environments.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing financial processes for complex programs.
• Strong understanding of the contingent workforce financial lifecycle, including time and expense, rate cards, markups, MSP/VMS fees, purchase orders, client invoicing, supplier payments, credits/adjustments, accruals, and reconciliation.
• At least 3 years of experience leading financial systems implementations, solution design, requirements gathering, testing/UAT, integrations, and go-live activities.
• Experience with leading VMS platforms such as SAP Fieldglass, Beeline, Workday VNDLY, or similar platforms is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with integrating VMS solutions with ERP, AP, procurement, and financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, or similar platforms is preferred.
• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience in the MSP/VMS industry.
• Demonstrated ability to work with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Willingness to work 40 to 50 hours per week as needed for projects.
