This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary financial partner to the General Manager / Business Unit leader for the GPU-as-a-Service division and assist the Rackspace CFO with corporate reporting, governance, and enterprise financial strategy.
• Establish the financial operating model for launching, scaling, and creating long-term value.
• Oversee annual planning, long-term forecasting, and scenario analysis.
• Balance growth targets with profitability, disciplined financial management, and capital efficiency.
• Build and lead a specialized finance team, focusing on hiring and developing talent as the organization grows.
• Formulate and manage the capital strategy for GPU fleet expansion, infrastructure investments, and capacity planning.
• Assess CapEx versus OpEx trade-offs, depreciation timelines, and return on invested capital.
• Convert demand forecasts into financial and capacity plans in collaboration with technical and operational leaders.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of GPU economics, utilization, fleet efficiency, cost curves, and generational shifts.
• Create pricing models that reflect GPU economics and customer consumption behavior.
• Assist in negotiations for significant enterprise and strategic customer contracts.
• Evaluate reserved capacity, spot capacity, and consumption-based pricing to maximize revenue and margins.
• Lead FP&A, reporting, and KPI dashboards for bookings, revenue, gross margin, utilization, and capital efficiency.
• Set operating metrics and conduct business reviews for timely, data-driven decision-making.
• Provide performance updates to the CEO, executive team, Board, and investors.
• Support executive partnerships with GPU, silicon, cloud, and infrastructure stakeholders through financial and commercial analysis.
• Analyze supply and deployment economics for capacity planning and procurement strategies.
• Contribute to the development of strategic partnerships that enhance economics, supply access, and long-term business resilience.
• Over 15 years of executive finance leadership experience in high-growth technology, cloud, AI infrastructure, or capital-intensive sectors.
• Proven expertise in capital allocation, financial planning, infrastructure economics, pricing strategies, and performance management.
• Strong history of evaluating data center economics and structuring large-scale capital investment decisions, including build-vs-lease, depreciation, and return thresholds.
• Demonstrated experience in partnering on large-scale investments, strategic partnerships, commercial negotiations, and corporate development initiatives.
• Direct experience as a CFO or senior finance executive at a GPU cloud, neocloud, or infrastructure-as-a-service provider is strongly preferred.
• Proven capability to collaborate with CEOs and executive leadership teams to build and scale high-growth organizations.
• Track record of developing talent and leading cross-functional teams through periods of rapid growth and transformation.
• Entrepreneurial mindset that balances speed, innovation, and disciplined financial governance.
• Exceptional executive presence and communication abilities, with a talent for influencing Boards, investors, customers, and strategic partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
• A Master’s degree is preferred.
