Strategic Finance Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop and refine Clara’s business and financial strategy

• Implement high-impact cross-functional initiatives

• Maintain the consolidated corporate finance model, which includes monthly forecasts, financial KPIs, balance sheets, and cash flow projections

• Enhance financial processes to ensure precise financial reporting and analysis

• Monitor SG&A, ensure budget alignment, and promote cost efficiencies

• Create business cases with TAM analysis and financial projections for new products and features

• Generate reporting and dashboards to evaluate the performance of new products

• Conduct financial analyses encompassing unit economics, working capital, cash flow forecasting, and customer acquisition efficiency

• Deliver financial insights to both global and local leadership teams

• Assist sales, growth, product, and other teams with recommendations driven by data

• Prepare board packs, investor updates, and financial reports

• Build and refresh data room materials for equity and debt fundraising

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related discipline

• 3–4 years of experience in investment banking, venture capital, management consulting, FP&A, strategic finance, and/or data science

• Experience in startups or fintech is advantageous

• Proficient in utilizing the latest AI tools, including creating custom workflows, dashboards, and applications for complex financial analysis

• Capability to develop scalable, efficient, and user-friendly financial models in Excel

• Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail

• Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and juggle multiple time-sensitive priorities

• Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to prepare materials and analyses for executive-level audiences

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish or Portuguese is mandatory
