Strategic Finance Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of Check’s financial model, which includes revenue and cost factors.

• Assist in the annual and quarterly financial planning and target-setting activities.

• Facilitate organization-wide decision-making through ad-hoc analyses, covering aspects like new product pricing, cost optimization, and capital allocation.

• Create presentations for the Board and provide updates to investors regarding company performance.

• Aid in the processes for equity and debt fundraising.

• Support negotiations for deals with key vendors and partners.

• Utilize AI tools and agents in analysis and reporting as a fundamental component of operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional skills in financial modeling, analytics, and presentation.

• Capacity to simplify complex issues into organized frameworks and actionable plans.

• 3+ years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in investment banking or a related field.

• Familiarity with AI tools/agents to enhance workflows.

• Experience in fintech, payments, or embedded/vertical SaaS is a plus.

• Proficiency in SQL or equivalent analytical skills (bonus).

• Previous experience in a Strategic Finance or Business Operations team (bonus).

• Experience in high-growth technology startups (bonus).

• Capability to work remotely with minimal distraction while ensuring quality, effective communication, and productivity.
