Strategic Cloud Engineer, GCP Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and execute secure, scalable architectures on GCP.

• Establish and implement Landing Zones and infrastructure foundations utilizing Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.

• Collaborate with GKE, GCE, GCVE, and GCS.

• Develop networking solutions incorporating VPC, Cloud Firewall, Cloud Router, Interconnect, VPN, and IP subnets.

• Administer IAM, Logging & Monitoring, resource management, FinOps, cost optimization, and CI/CD processes.

• Lead or assist with Data Center migrations to GCP.

• Act as a technical advisor, linking business requirements to cloud solutions.

• Employ AI and AI agents to expedite and automate migration and modernization initiatives.

• Advocate for cloud governance, security, and architectural best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in architecting and implementing solutions on GCP.

• Proficient in IaC, DevOps, CI/CD, and enterprise cloud solutions.

• Experience in Professional Services and/or Technical Consulting.

• Outstanding communication, collaboration, negotiation, and project management abilities.

• Programming skills in Python, Java, Go, C, or C++.

• Advanced English and fluent Portuguese.

• Certifications as Google Professional Cloud Architect, Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer, or Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer are preferred.
