This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Establish and uphold the key metrics that are essential for assessing in-year performance.
• Create a high-impact “morning read” overview of the business that prompts immediate actions beyond traditional dashboards.
• Spearhead surge initiatives to identify and resolve critical objectives that are at risk.
• Stay engaged until interventions lead to measurable improvements in business outcomes.
• Convert long-term corporate strategies into actionable operational plans for the current year.
• Break down vague opportunities across product, risk, and marketing into well-defined workstreams.
• Compile materials for the CEO/COO that transform unstructured data into actionable insights.
• Collaborate with Corporate Strategy and Product teams to test assumptions and pinpoint execution shortcomings.
• Work collaboratively across Stripe’s technical and customer-facing teams to address challenges and design workflows that benefit users.
• Over 12 years of experience in product or data analytics within product organizations or strategic business performance teams at high-growth technology firms.
• Background in Product Strategy, Product Management, or GM-style roles where you were responsible for a P&L or specific business outcomes.
• Strong curiosity about business models and data, including the ability to investigate signals, recognize trends, and analyze customer usage patterns to derive insights.
• Demonstrated history of directly contributing to business growth through analytical insights and execution.
• Capability to leverage AI for improving decision-making and operational efficiency, utilizing suitable AI tools while maintaining rigor and quality.
• Solid understanding of product development and the technical aspects of scaling software products.
• Experience in navigating complex, ambiguous problems and leading critical interventions with senior stakeholders.
• Proven experience in facilitating meetings with senior leadership regarding Stripe’s business performance.
• Familiarity with the payments ecosystem or finance/fintech is advantageous, but not mandatory.
• Ability to cultivate trust and collaborate effectively with senior leaders and CXOs.
• Technical expertise in SQL, Python, R, and data analysis; capable of independently exploring complex datasets.
• Experience in driving innovative solutions and shaping cross-functional team roadmaps.
• Understanding the impacts of product features, policy modifications, and marketing efforts on user and support experiences.
