• Propel business expansion within intricate total solution opportunities in clinical markets.
• Cultivate strong strategic relationships with a network of contacts.
• Pursue new business ventures and explore fresh opportunities.
• Supervise growth initiatives.
• Lead and enhance business development and strategic expansion of Leica Biosystems managed service contracts within the UKI region.
• Create and oversee large, complex total solution opportunities.
• Secure end-to-end solution tenders and establish long-term strategic business relationships.
• Promote after-sales customer satisfaction.
• Assist in the sales cycle for UKI managed service contract clients, encompassing presales activities, tender processes, and renewal/extension business development.
• Formulate strategies that align with the consolidation of networks and laboratories throughout the region.
• Manage a key service account while developing an in-depth understanding of Leica Biosystems' complete offerings.
• Meet development and growth objectives.
• Engage and influence senior leaders and C-suite executives to drive successful business results.
• Report to the Regional Sales Manager as a member of the South UKI sales team.
• In-depth knowledge and comprehension of NHS Pathology Networks across England, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland.
• Prior experience in Account Management/Sales within the pathology sector.
• Extensive sales skillset.
• Exceptional relationship-building abilities with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• A proactive, hunter mentality with the capacity to influence decision-making processes.
• Strong negotiation skills essential for securing high-value, strategic contracts.
• Proven track record of success in cross-matrix environments.
• Capability to mentor, share account insights, and lead new projects in collaboration with Sales, Applications, Service, and Customer Care teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, including frequent overnight stays within the territory and broader UKI region.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
