This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Act as the authority on customers’ missions, operations, and processes.
• Cultivate champions, enhance key accounts, and assist customers in Australia and New Zealand in meeting growth objectives.
• Lead large, intricate transactions and be responsible for booking and revenue targets for the existing accounts.
• Identify economic buyers, decision-makers, budget timelines, and develop capture plans.
• Provide ongoing product updates and carry out account reviews and business reporting.
• Establish recognition as a trusted Vantor representative and a key advisor in the GeoInt industry.
• Create engagement strategies across government sectors and US Embassy to promote Vantor’s capabilities.
• Operate independently while garnering cross-company support within a matrixed organization.
• Structure deals and determine routes to market.
• Develop negotiation strategies while prioritizing requirements and concessions.
• Forecast, implement, and monitor revenue alongside Sales Operations and Finance.
• Design, price, and quote solutions in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Conduct product briefings and demonstrations.
• Finalize project scope, pricing, terms, conditions, licenses, and usage rights.
• Collaborate with the Proposals team to create proposals and lead internal deal approvals.
• Create and sustain opportunities in Salesforce.
• Present internal reporting updates to the Executive Team and Board Members.
• Utilize government industry and mission-domain insights to expand business and market share.
• Apply knowledge of government industry and foreign relations to Earth observation and spatial solutions for National Security and Emergency Management.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Government security clearance at the NV1 level or higher; Australian citizenship is required at the time of application.
• Over 10 years of direct experience in the government industry, preferably within operational, diplomatic, defense, intelligence, or geospatial fields.
• More than 5 years of experience in Defense & National Security.
• At least 5 years of experience in solutions selling.
• Proven track record of growing high-value key accounts.
• Experience in responding to RFPs, RFIs, and tenders in complex environments and within tight timeframes.
• Reside in any major Australian capital city or be willing to relocate.
• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally, averaging about 25%, with potential peaks up to 50%.
• Native proficiency in English.
