This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +2 more states.
• Achieve set revenue targets for the ImmunoDiagnostics Division’s allergy and autoimmune product lines within a specific geographic area.
• Identify and secure new Laboratory and Health System business opportunities.
• Develop and nurture existing laboratory accounts.
• Ensure that laboratory logistics are effectively established in designated markets for optimal pull-through efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with Thermo Fisher Scientific divisions, particularly Fisher Healthcare, to provide a comprehensive Thermo Fisher Scientific experience.
• Present and communicate the value proposition at the C-Suite level.
• Guarantee full account engagement and customer satisfaction.
• Grasp the healthcare delivery landscape in designated markets, including healthcare systems, hospitals, laboratory providers, payers, key influencers, and medical thought leaders.
• Safeguard the current customer base through exceptional account management while expanding the Autoimmune business in essential markets.
• Balance the financial objectives of the organization and customers to sell capital equipment and secure long-lasting contracts and relationships.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Market Development, and District Managers on instrument placements that encourage sustained clinical adoption.
• Capture market share in the autoimmune sector through competitive conversion using purchase, lease, and placement options.
• Serve as IDD’s instrument specialist for capital equipment sales.
• Partner with the Area Director to ensure strategic objectives are achieved through appropriate instrument placements and long-term growth.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, sciences, or a related field is required.
• Over 5 years of relevant commercial diagnostic sales experience, or comparable experience, working collaboratively with senior-level stakeholders.
• At least 2 years of successful experience in capital diagnostic or medical device sales.
• A proven track record of success as a Regional Account Manager (or equivalent) for 1–3 years.
• A history of successful sales at the C-Suite level is preferred.
• Previous experience as a Medical Technologist, Clinical Laboratory Technician (CLT), Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), or equivalent hands-on laboratory experience is advantageous.
• Proven ability to develop strong customer relationships and translate their business goals and challenges into effective company solutions and services.
• Demonstrated skills in leadership, strategic selling, negotiation, presentation, and financial/business acumen.
• Self-motivated individual capable of working independently in a remote setting.
• Willingness to travel approximately 80% of the time, primarily within the local area and across the U.S.
• Proficient in building, leveraging, and maintaining long-term relationships with customers, including C-level and Senior VP-level executives.
• Ability to identify and seize opportunities that meet customer needs.
• Capacity to maintain a strategic focus on lifecycle costs for Phadia Lab system equipment.
• Ability to collaborate with the Director of Operations to ensure seamless customer service.
• Effectively partner with internal departments to address and respond to customer needs.
• Access to resources and opportunities to make meaningful contributions to the world.
• Frequent travel opportunities, approximately 80% of total time.
