This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
β’ Take ownership of the multi-year account strategy for designated large, intricate employer pharmacy benefit manager clients.
β’ Act as the main executive-level liaison for client leadership.
β’ Assist clients in comprehending options, trade-offs, and the implications of complex pharmacy benefit decisions.
β’ Spearhead renewal strategy and negotiations in collaboration with underwriting, legal, and finance teams.
β’ Create and present recommendations regarding pricing, guarantees, and solution design.
β’ Identify opportunities for growth through financial and strategic assessments aligned with client objectives.
β’ Utilize analytics platforms and AI-enabled tools to track performance and uncover risks or opportunities.
β’ Maintain a comprehensive understanding of account economics, including drug trends, pricing, rebates, and guarantees.
β’ Analyze financial data and convey results to both client and internal leaders.
β’ Cultivate relationships with consultants who influence assigned accounts.
β’ Represent the organization in competitive contexts and factor in market and regulatory considerations during client discussions.
β’ Direct internal partners, including Account Executives and various functional teams.
β’ Raise concerns regarding risks, resource requirements, or execution challenges through established leadership channels.
β’ Diagnose client challenges and collaborate across the matrix to implement solutions.
β’ Travel up to 40%, which may include overnight and short-notice travel as dictated by business requirements.
β’ A minimum of 7 years of experience in healthcare or managed care.
β’ Familiarity with large employer accounts.
β’ Proven experience in leading complex renewals and pricing discussions.
β’ Capability to translate financial data into clear recommendations.
β’ Proficiency in engaging confidently with senior client and consultant stakeholders.
β’ Ability to exercise sound judgment in high-pressure and ambiguous situations.
β’ Understanding of the economic and operational realities of pharmacy benefit management delivery.
β’ Strong digital and AI proficiency, including the use of advanced tools for complex judgment and client decision-making.
β’ Senior-level experience managing relationships with large employers or health plans is preferred.
β’ Previous experience in a pharmacy benefit manager sales or service executive role is preferred.
β’ Background in regulated or policy-influenced healthcare environments is preferred.
β’ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
