This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Drive the acquisition of new accounts and foster organic growth through strategic prospecting, value-driven sales approaches, and clinical education.
• Establish Caris as a preferred or exclusive provider of tumor profiling and molecular intelligence solutions.
• Evaluate territory opportunities and create strategic sales plans to meet growth targets.
• Achieve or surpass assigned revenue, activity, and performance goals.
• Develop and nurture robust customer relationships through regular in-person interactions.
• Ensure a smooth customer experience throughout the entire order lifecycle.
• Maintain communication with key account stakeholders and escalate issues when customer satisfaction may be compromised.
• Implement retention strategies while identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Collaborate with oncology clinicians and allied teams across clinics, pathology labs, and hospital environments.
• Assist physicians in ordering and interpreting the CMI platform, including access to PHI when necessary.
• Demonstrate and provide advice on technological solutions such as portals, EMR integrations, and workflows.
• Keep abreast of molecular profiling, biomarkers, and competitive offerings.
• Offer insights on billing, reimbursement, and payer dynamics.
• Act as a resource for laboratory reimbursement and operational workflows.
• Relay market trends, customer feedback, and competitive insights to leadership.
• Collaborate with Client Services, Regional Business Directors, Commercial Leadership, and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure accurate CRM documentation and complete necessary administrative tasks.
• Take care of assigned company assets.
• Support meetings, conferences, and trade shows as needed.
• Willing to travel regularly, including potential evenings, weekends, or holidays.
• Undertake other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• At least 3 years of relevant sales experience is required.
• A strong understanding of oncology practices and molecular diagnostics is essential.
• Familiarity with billing and reimbursement environments is necessary.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities are required.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities within a matrixed environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools is essential.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently are required.
• Successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including criminal background check, drug screening, credit check where applicable, and reference verification.
• Preferred: Over 5 years of sales experience focused on oncology or molecular diagnostics.
• Preferred: Established relationships within oncology or pathology.
• Preferred: Familiarity with hospital systems and pathology networks.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended durations.
• Ability to lift standard office materials.
