This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +9 more states.
• Implement strategic elements of the client management team's business plan tailored for each customer.
• Oversee overall relationships between Meritain Pharmacy Solutions and its external partners, consultants, and clients.
• Achieve customer and organizational goals for a segment of business, which includes service levels, process enhancements, pharmacy benefit plan operations, identifying service gaps, conducting root-cause analysis, and developing solutions.
• Provide innovative product and service solutions to meet the evolving requirements of clients.
• Track clients' product offerings and services to ensure their needs are consistently addressed.
• Support annual business plans and account strategies.
• Collaborate with members of the Medical account team and pharmacy support areas to resolve complex product or service challenges.
• Recognize, implement, and assess customer service efficiencies, including contractual and performance guarantees.
• Work together on the implementation of new clients and the integration of client and Meritain internal organizations.
• Carry out renewal activities and engage in open enrollment to assist in increasing membership.
• Travel regularly to meet with external partners, clients, and consultants, including on-site meetings, to address needs, strengthen relationships, and secure renewals.
• Deliver daily customer relationship services, act as the primary service contact, oversee the resolution of administrative issues, manage key meetings, and follow up on reporting, quarterly meetings, and any changes.
• Coordinate issue resolution with relevant team members and matrix partners, ensuring effective communication and documentation.
• Offer support, including on-site presence, for opportunities involving new products and services.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the healthcare industry.
• At least 3 years of experience in client-facing or management roles.
• Willingness to travel 25% or more.
• Proven ability to lead open enrollment strategies, including conducting on-site client meetings.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience communicating with C-suite level executives.
• Familiarity with monitoring and reporting the results of Performance Guarantees.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Preferred: Prior client management experience with a health plan carrier.
• Preferred: 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the pharmacy industry.
• Preferred: Previous client management experience with a pharmacy benefit manager (PBM).
