This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +3 more states.
• Lead efforts for storage products, services, software, and solutions within the designated territory.
• Collaborate with and assist Account Generalists and Account Managers by offering storage expertise.
• Initiate proactive campaigns to build the sales pipeline and prospect, qualify, negotiate, and finalize opportunities.
• Create pursuit plans and develop and oversee the storage sales pipeline.
• Contribute to the formulation of proposals, negotiations, and deal closures.
• Coordinate supporting sales activities related to pipeline hygiene in collaboration with account managers, Presales, channel partners, and stakeholders.
• Work in conjunction with HPE teams on business development and comprehensive account planning.
• Evaluate solution viability from both technical and business viewpoints.
• Negotiate lucrative deals to enhance storage opportunities, footprint, and revenue.
• Collaborate with channel partners to cultivate relationships, enable key technologies, and engage in co-selling to end users.
• Lead and manage Storage marketing campaigns.
• Serve as a trusted consultant for storage solutions for assigned accounts and regions.
• Reinforce HPE's strategy and portfolio to partners and advocates to identify new business opportunities.
• Clearly articulate complex technologies using customer references and narratives.
• Generate customer interest, comprehend purchasing trends, and convey ROI and TCO benefits.
• Preferred: University or Bachelor's degree.
• Typically requires 5+ years of sales experience.
• Strongly desired: Experience in storage-related sales.
• Proficient in working within an indirect channel model.
• In-depth competitive knowledge of at least one major storage vendor.
• Highly skilled in selling a complete data lifecycle management portfolio, encompassing block, file, backup, and ransomware protection.
• Capability to perform hands-on demonstrations of previously sold portfolio items.
• Self-motivated and able to quickly adapt.
• Proven track record of achieving progressively higher quotas and experience working with diverse business customers.
• Preferred locations include MA, RI, NH, CT.
