
Statewide Learning & Career Partnerships Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.
• Drive strategic conversations with state education departments and major school districts.
• Create and implement strategic partnership strategies that align with the objectives of states and districts.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with state officials, executive leaders, district stakeholders, educational agencies, workforce development organizations, CTE agencies, and industry partners.
• Organize and deliver implementation initiatives, professional development, technical assistance, and cross-functional resources.
• Assess partnership health by analyzing data, usage trends, progress evaluations, and success metrics.
• Keep comprehensive documentation, communication plans, meeting summaries, and account records updated in Salesforce, Gainsight, and other relevant systems.
• Collaborate with teams in Sales, Government Affairs, Product Development, Marketing, Professional Learning, and Customer Support.
• Lead implementation planning that aligns with partner priorities, instructional goals, and outcomes related to student career readiness.
• Facilitate professional development, executive planning, and ongoing advisory support.
• Foster executive sponsorship, instructional advocates, and collaborative partnerships.
• Evaluate partner needs, challenges, and organizational preparedness to create effective implementation strategies.
• Share best practices, demonstrate partnership strategies, and mentor internal teams.
• Promote continuous improvement through effective communication, problem-solving, change management, and celebration of partnership achievements.
• Link K-12 partnerships with state CTE and workforce development objectives.
• Identify funding, co-branding, and pipeline opportunities with workforce agencies, CTE directors, and industry/employer partners.
• Position career-readiness content to enhance workforce-related funding streams.
• Represent Discovery Education at career and workforce-focused forums, advisory committees, and inter-agency initiatives.
• Stay informed about Discovery Education’s strategic vision.
• Travel approximately 60% of the time for partner meetings, conferences, company events, and other assigned responsibilities.
• Proven track record in leading K-12 strategic partnerships, implementation, partner success, or educational and workforce development initiatives.
• Experience working with large and rural districts, State Departments of Education, and/or state workforce development or CTE agencies.
• Preference for candidates with educational leadership experience.
• In-depth understanding of instructional practices, curriculum implementation, professional development, and digital learning environments.
• Outstanding relationship-building, communication, presentation, and executive facilitation abilities.
• Strong strategic thinking, project management, organizational, and analytical capabilities.
• Experience in utilizing data to inform decisions, assess impact, and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Gainsight, Looker, or similar CRM and customer success tools.
• A growth-oriented, self-motivated, and solutions-focused professional.
• At least 5 years of experience in professional learning and curriculum implementation.
• Background in Career and Technical Education (CTE), workforce development, or a state priority industry sector is highly preferred.
• Master's degree or an equivalent combination of skills, training, and experience required.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Willingness to travel 50-60% of the time.
