State Relations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a bridge between the National FFA Organization and state FFA associations.

• Initiate, cultivate, and sustain relationships within the organization.

• Establish and nurture connections with state leadership and local educators, concentrating on educational services and support for FFA personnel.

• Comprehend state initiatives and requirements.

• Develop and oversee projects from inception to completion by utilizing needs assessments, content creation, collaboration, and distribution.

• Facilitate connections among state leaders, educators, and FFA colleagues.

• Prepare reports that summarize travel, communication, and information exchange between states and the organization.

• Oversee budget and financial duties.

• Deliver stakeholder training utilizing authorized National FFA materials and methodologies.

• Execute additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in agricultural education is required.

• 5-7 years of relevant educational experience or substantial state or national staff experience.

• Familiarity with trends in agricultural education and/or FFA program areas.

• A collaborative team player who can work independently in a rapidly changing environment.

• Exceptional interpersonal, listening, written and verbal communication, and project management abilities.

• Capacity to engage, influence, and collaborate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.

• Excellent customer service capabilities.

• Proficient in prioritizing, organizing, managing time, and multitasking.

• Detail-oriented, accurate, and skilled in problem-solving and analysis.

• Competent in computer skills and capable of making and receiving phone calls.

• Confident in delivering presentations to both small and large groups.
