Start-up Manager, FSP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee intricate site operations and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.

• Assist in recruitment and training initiatives for the site.

• Promote teamwork between trial sites and internal departments.

• Partner with cross-functional team members to achieve site activation for designated projects.

• Supervise site activation in accordance with established timelines and quality benchmarks.

• Manage the flow of information among PPD teams, clients, and various functional departments.

• Create project implementation plans and guidelines utilizing PPD resources.

• Track and evaluate project progress, completion, and metrics for senior management.

• Recognize risks and implement contingency strategies.

• Oversee financial and contractual elements of studies related to site activation.

• Set up controls to ensure project resources and expenses remain within budget.

• Handle technical and operational aspects of site activation, including feasibility studies, site contracts, and coordination with country teams.

• Manage the defined scope of work concerning timelines, costs, and quality expectations.

• Identify and assess key site activation challenges and devise effective solutions.

• Foster customer relationships in line with assigned projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent relevant academic or vocational qualification.

• Prior experience similar to at least 5 years.

• Capability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.

• Understanding of cross-functional project management principles.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Ability to identify and address risks associated with contractual obligations.

• Cultural awareness and flexibility.

• In-depth knowledge of clinical research and development, including medical and therapeutic fields, study phases, and medical terminology.

• Proven ability to lead, connect, and coordinate cross-functional project teams.

• Thorough understanding of clinical development guidelines and directives.

• Capability to work in an office, laboratory, and/or clinical setting.

• Proficiency in using both proprietary and commercial software applications.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Consistent and regular attendance is required.

• Willingness to travel occasionally, up to 20% of the time, which may include domestic and international site visits.
