Start-up Manager, FSP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Oversee intricate site operations while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

• Assist in recruitment and training initiatives at the site.

• Promote cooperation between trial sites and internal teams.

• Work alongside matrixed team members to facilitate site activation for designated projects.

• Supervise site activation to meet established timelines and quality benchmarks.

• Manage the flow of information among PPD teams, clients, and various functional departments.

• Create project implementation strategies and guidelines utilizing PPD resources.

• Track and assess project progress, completion, and metrics for upper management review.

• Recognize potential risks and devise contingency plans.

• Handle financial and contractual elements of studies related to site activation.

• Implement controls to ensure that project resources and expenditures align with budgets.

• Oversee the technical and operational facets of site activation, including feasibility assessments, site contracts, and country teams.

• Manage the defined scope of work concerning timelines, costs, and quality standards.

• Identify and assess challenges impacting successful site activation and apply effective solutions.

• Cultivate client relationships in accordance with the projects assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent with relevant formal academic or vocational qualifications.

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.

• An equivalent combination of suitable education, training, and/or directly related experience may be considered.

• Proficiency in collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Understanding of cross-functional project management principles.

• Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Ability to recognize and mitigate risks associated with contractual obligations.

• Cultural awareness and adaptability.

• Extensive knowledge of clinical research and development, including medical and therapeutic domains, phases, and terminology.

• Capability to lead, liaise, and coordinate cross-functional project teams.

• In-depth knowledge of clinical development guidelines and directives.

• Proficiency in using in-house and commercially available computer software.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to comprehend spoken information.
