Standard Operating Procedures Specialist – Healthcare RCM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive, step-by-step documentation for back end processes related to AR Follow Up & Denials and Billing within Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).

• Work in collaboration with operations and quality teams to pinpoint needs, identify skill gaps, and discover coaching opportunities, ensuring that SOP content meets business requirements.

• Organize meetings, manage information, and track follow-up items with moderate supervision.

• Offer continuous support for process clarifications and performance improvement.

• Keep project planning materials up to date and maintain accurate records.

• Execute version control and analyze performance reports.

• Ensure that SOP deliverables are completed within the established project timelines.

• Oversee SharePoint sites for the purpose of document distribution.

• Perform Quality Assessments as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma along with 8+ years of relevant experience (Relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of formal education).

• Strong understanding and practical experience in back end Revenue Cycle Management processes, including billing, denial management, and AR follow-up.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation abilities.

• Capability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver significant results.

• Strong analytical skills and effective problem-solving capabilities.

• Proficient in designing SOP and training documentation, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Outlook.

• Proficient in at least one Patient Accounting software platform, such as EPIC, MEDITECH, or Cerner.
