This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Lead the mapping of stakeholders and conduct institutional and political-economy analyses in key countries and organizations.
• Keep track of changes in leadership, institutional priorities, decision-making cycles, funding opportunities, risks, and emerging prospects.
• Convert intricate information into strategic options and actionable recommendations for senior leaders and relationship managers.
• Take ownership of and enhance Fika’s stakeholder architecture, governance structures, segmentation, and prioritization.
• Strengthen Salesforce and related tools to serve as the definitive source for relationships, interactions, commitments, and next steps.
• Establish standards for data quality and develop decision-support dashboards.
• Collaborate with relationship managers and country teams to keep current priority records updated.
• Spearhead the adoption and ongoing enhancement of stakeholder systems, including automation and AI-driven workflows.
• Provide guidance on engagement objectives, sequencing, associated risks, and next steps.
• Create stakeholder and engagement strategies for Safe Access, country adoption, development finance pathways, and strategic priorities.
• Evaluate events and gatherings in relation to stakeholder, policy, and financing priorities.
• Monitor commitments and hand-offs while identifying relationships that require intervention.
• Prepare leadership briefs, stakeholder profiles, institutional analyses, and meeting recommendations.
• Organize pre-briefings and debriefings, documenting decisions, commitments, and follow-up actions.
• Maintain records of engagement histories and institutional contexts.
• Generate regular summaries of stakeholders highlighting changes, opportunities, risks, and suggested actions.
• Define metrics for relationship progression and their contribution to policy, financing, or adoption outcomes.
• Minimum of seven years of progressive experience in institutional research, stakeholder analysis, political-economy analysis, public affairs, policy, advocacy, strategic partnerships, international development, or a related area.
• A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of relevant education and professional experience.
• Advanced skills in stakeholder mapping, institutional research, and political-economy analysis.
• Experience utilizing Salesforce or another CRM for relationship management and organizational decision-making.
• Exceptional abilities in research, synthesis, executive writing, and briefing.
• Capability to translate complex qualitative and quantitative data into clear recommendations for senior decision-makers.
• Strong judgment and discretion when managing sensitive institutional and relationship information.
• Ability to establish shared standards and influence teams without formal authority.
• Experience collaborating across countries, cultures, and time zones.
• Experience in Africa and/or global development is preferred.
• Background in analyzing or engaging with governments, multilateral development banks, bilateral institutions, foundations, or global coalitions is preferred.
• Familiarity with transport, climate, infrastructure, health, public policy, or development finance is preferred.
• Experience with dashboards, automation, data visualization, or AI-driven research workflows is preferred.
