Staff Web Automation Engineer, Quality Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Utilize AI and tools to spearhead the execution of a test automation strategy.

• Oversee the creation, maintenance, and effective use of automated tests.

• Play a role in enhancing current automation frameworks to accommodate new functionalities.

• Work in conjunction with the CI/CD team to embed automated testing within CI/CD pipelines.

• Exhibit exceptional troubleshooting skills, identify issues, and validate bug fixes.

• Be an integral member of our high-performance team to uphold code quality.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, development, and other quality engineering teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of professional experience in software testing and automation.

• Proven expertise in at least one programming language (e.g., Typescript, Javascript).

• In-depth understanding of test automation methodologies, tools, and frameworks.

• Strong practical experience with web automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress).

• Background in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Buildkite, Spinnaker, Jenkins) and version control systems (Git).

• Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Proficiency in developing solutions for ambiguous challenges and fostering integrations across multiple teams with substantial impact.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or a related field.
