This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.
• Design and implement automation solutions that incorporate RPA tools (such as UiPath, Power Automate, or equivalent) along with AI/LLM functionalities (including agentic workflows, document intelligence, NLP, and RAG).
• Engage in technical discovery sessions with business analysts and stakeholders to convert requirements into scalable solutions.
• Take ownership of the entire automation lifecycle: from design and development to testing, deployment, monitoring, and optimization.
• Provide Tier 3/escalation support for intricate automation incidents and production challenges.
• Assess, pilot, and incorporate new AI tools, including LLM APIs, orchestration frameworks, and vector databases.
• Develop and maintain APIs, connectors, and integrations between automation platforms, internal systems, and third-party services.
• Adhere to and contribute to best practices in automation development, covering aspects like code review, testing, and security/compliance requirements.
• Monitor the performance, reliability, and ROI of deployed automations, while identifying opportunities for optimization.
• Produce and sustain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and process workflows.
• Collaborate across functions with IT, data, security, and business teams.
• Operate as an individual contributor with a focus on hands-on delivery, without responsibilities for mentoring or people management.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 3 years of experience in automation engineering, software development, or similar roles.
• Practical experience with RPA platforms (UiPath, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere, or similar).
• Proven experience in integrating AI/LLM technologies (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure AI, or similar) into production automation workflows.
• Proficient in one or more scripting/programming languages (Python, C#, or JavaScript).
• Familiarity with API integration, REST/SOAP web services, and system-to-system connectivity.
• Strong knowledge of AI/ML fundamentals, encompassing prompt engineering, LLM orchestration, and agentic workflow design.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and their AI/automation service offerings.
• Advanced skills in Excel and data manipulation; experience with SQL and both structured and unstructured data.
• Capability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable automation solutions.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Capacity to manage multiple projects independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Dedication to ongoing learning in automation and AI technologies.
