This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Collaborate closely with key internal business units to promote the adoption of AI.
• Engage with internal stakeholders to identify challenges, workflows, and the current technical framework.
• Design and develop comprehensive systems for internal users.
• Conduct user research by observing workflows, posing questions, and converting needs into actionable solutions.
• Rapidly create functional software during discussions with stakeholders.
• Transform disorganized data such as spreadsheets, PDFs, screenshots, recorded calls, documents, and emails into effective solutions.
• Develop and deploy production AI applications utilizing cutting-edge LLMs, agents, MCP servers, evaluation tools, retrieval systems, and custom skills.
• Assess production AI applications and quickly iterate based on feedback across various engagements.
• Take ownership of the entire stack, including frontend, backend, data, integrations, deployment, URLs, and observability.
• Document successful patterns and share them with platform and engineering teams.
• Nurture relationships with business lines during engagements, identify new opportunities, and strengthen production solutions.
• Over 8 years of experience in full-stack engineering, with substantial experience in delivering production systems from start to finish.
• Solid understanding of computer science principles: data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Proficient in frontend development using modern React and TypeScript.
• Experience with component architecture and state management.
• Backend proficiency in Node.JS, Java, and Python.
• Knowledge of API design, data modeling, authentication, and error management.
• Experience with production LLMs, including advanced prompt engineering, agent creation, evaluation frameworks, retrieval, and large-scale deployment.
• Proven experience in shipping at least one real LLM-powered application utilized by others.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and agentic coding methodologies.
• Strong data fluency, including databases and Python data tools.
• Cloud and deployment experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with CI/CD, containers, and observability practices.
• Integration experience with SSO, OAuth, third-party APIs, internal systems, and legacy databases.
• Capability to navigate uncertainty and operate independently.
• Strong collaboration skills across team boundaries.
• Excellent communication skills with executives, engineers, and end users.
• Up-to-date knowledge of LLM capabilities, agent patterns, and AI product ecosystems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant combination of education, training, and professional experience.
