This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Design, develop, test, and maintain features across the C#/.NET back end, TypeScript/Angular front end, and databases.
β’ Lead the technical efforts within the team's domain and create design documentation.
β’ Construct and manage healthcare data integrations utilizing HL7, FHIR, and X12 EDI.
β’ Modernize outdated functionalities and transition screens and functions to new services and front ends.
β’ Write clear, thoroughly tested code and conduct code reviews for other engineers.
β’ Implement data modeling techniques and enhance code and database query performance.
β’ Employ secure coding practices, safeguard PHI, adhere to HIPAA regulations, and comply with WCAG guidelines.
β’ Investigate and rectify production defects and incidents.
β’ Utilize AI coding tools responsibly and assess AI-generated code.
β’ Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, collaborative coding, and design discussions.
β’ Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, Quality Assurance, and fellow engineers.
β’ Adhere to engineering standards and suggest enhancements.
β’ Perform additional duties as assigned.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 10%, including overnight stays.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
β’ Six or more years of professional software engineering experience in building and supporting production applications.
β’ Three or more years of experience in developing healthcare software, including work with PHI under HIPAA compliance.
β’ Strong practical experience with C# and the .NET framework, particularly in building REST APIs.
β’ Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript and familiarity with a modern framework such as Angular.
β’ Experience with SQL Server or PostgreSQL, including data modeling, query writing, and performance optimization.
β’ Practical experience with AWS or a similar cloud platform.
β’ Familiarity with Git, automated testing, code review, and CI/CD tools.
β’ Understanding of secure coding practices and managing sensitive data.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Ability to organize and manage oneβs work effectively, collaborate with multiple teams, and adjust to changing priorities.
β’ Must reside within the EST or CST time zones in the United States.
