Staff Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +9 more states.

📋 Description

• Expand Circle's internal blockchain systems infrastructure to facilitate tokenization.

• Evaluate requirements, processes, and challenges to enhance and adjust existing systems.

• Develop and manage scalable microservices for dependable and secure APIs that transfer value and assets between blockchain and conventional banking systems.

• Work alongside Product and Engineering teams to design, test, and refine Circle's features.

• Create and document system design protocols, testing methods, and quality benchmarks.

• Diagnose and resolve program and system issues.

• Construct publicly accessible APIs for developer integration with intricate payment systems.

• Integrate Platform Services with top banks and financial technologies.

• Consult with management to ensure consensus on system principles.

• Write infrastructure utilizing SQL or NoSQL data sources, messaging systems, and APIs.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of professional software development experience in object-oriented languages such as Go or Java.

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field (or foreign equivalent).

• Proven technical leadership of teams larger than 4 in architecture and system design.

• Expertise in at least one area of API design, payment processing, or blockchain technology.

• In-depth understanding and experience with the architecture, design, and deployment of production-quality, scalable software.

• Comprehensive knowledge and experience with Web3, blockchain, and smart contract business logic.

• Profound understanding and experience with RESTful API design and development principles.

• Extensive knowledge and experience with cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.

• Strong understanding and experience with container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes, EKS, or ECS.

• Solid understanding and experience with SQL databases and schema design.

• Strong emphasis on coding standards, code quality, and test coverage.

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate with remote teams.

• Self-motivated individual with a curious mindset and capacity to work with minimal supervision.
