This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and develop agentic LLM pipelines that enhance AI functionalities throughout the product.
• Construct full-stack features using Python/FastAPI for web applications, along with TypeScript or React web tools.
• Engineer prompts and refine LLM prompts and models; assess and suggest enhancements based on accuracy, latency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Enhance the evaluation framework utilizing curated datasets, evaluations, experiments, and regression detection.
• Boost production observability through accuracy signals and feedback mechanisms.
• Contribute to the architectural framework and technical strategy.
• Collaborate with other product teams to comprehend AI use cases and discover ways to enable and support them.
• Provide guidance on when to implement AI/LLM solutions and when to refrain, advocating for AI where it enhances speed and return on investment.
• Over 5 years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Background in a startup, incubator, or other fast-paced 0-to-1 environments where you take ownership of features from start to finish and set your own course.
• Proficient in full-stack web application development using Python.
• Experience in deploying reliable agentic LLM workflows to production with any orchestration framework (such as LangGraph, LangChain, etc.).
• Knowledge in evaluating and testing LLM workflows, including evaluation harnesses, golden datasets, regressions, and observability.
• Familiar with prompt engineering and the lifecycle of prompt iteration.
• Proficient with AI-powered coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) to expedite development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of driving consensus proactively.
• Must reside in the U.S.
• Nice to Have: Experience in healthcare workflows or health-tech.
• Nice to Have: Proficiency in Ruby on Rails.
• Nice to Have: A proven history of assessing emerging AI tools and facilitating their adoption within a team.
