Senior/Lead Software Developer, Biotechnology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Oversee the technical design, architecture, and execution of the system.

• Propel the technical vision of the solution and outline implementation strategies for new features.

• Guide, mentor, and coordinate the development team.

• Assume responsibility for technical decisions and assist in shaping the implementation strategy.

• Facilitate planning sessions to ensure that delivery milestones are achieved.

• Work alongside Business Analysts to convert business requirements into actionable solutions.

• Develop technical specifications, architecture documentation, and implementation plans.

• Conduct architecture and code reviews while promoting engineering best practices.

• Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams to recognize and address technical risks and dependencies.

• Aid in feature discovery and adapt effectively when requirements are in flux.

• Create workflow validation capabilities for a cutting-edge biotechnology platform utilizing AI to verify process accuracy and provide real-time guidance to operators.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with .NET / C#.

• Profound understanding of software architecture principles.

• Proven experience in designing distributed systems and microservice architectures.

• Strong familiarity with design patterns and contemporary development practices.

• Experience in event-driven and asynchronous programming.

• Knowledge of TDD and automated testing methodologies.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

• Solid understanding of Clean Code principles, SOLID, and Dependency Injection.

• Upper-Intermediate or Advanced level of English proficiency.

• For Lead Position: Minimum of 8 years of experience with .NET / C#.

• For Lead Position: Demonstrated leadership experience in software engineering teams.

• For Lead Position: Capability to influence architectural and technical decisions.

• For Lead Position: Strong skills in stakeholder management and communication.

• For Lead Position: Experience collaborating directly with customer architects and engineering leaders.

• For Lead Position: Proven experience in mentoring engineers and conducting technical reviews.

• For Lead Position: Ability to clarify complex project scopes and establish software design strategies.

• For Lead Position: Experience implementing AI SDLC practices and familiarity with AI Native development approaches.

• Nice to have: Knowledge of Functional Programming.

• Nice to have: Experience with Akka.NET or Actor Model frameworks.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with Reactive Programming (Rx, Streams).

• Nice to have: Experience with DSL / Fluent Test DSL.
