Devices Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, test, and maintain distributed systems and microservices.

• Create RESTful and gRPC APIs.

• Deploy scalable web applications within containerized settings.

• Utilize Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS infrastructure.

• Develop applications or scripts that manage or significantly interact with native operating-system frameworks.

• Implement automated CI/CD pipelines to build, test, and securely deploy code.

• Integrate AI throughout the SDLC and PDLC phases to enhance development, user experience, and testing support.

• Collaborate with UI/UX teams on modular, reusable Vue.js components for full-stack development.

• Engage with device enrollment concepts and protocols.

• Work alongside geographically distributed engineering teams.

• Participate in scheduled on-call shifts and respond to alerts.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.

• Strong proficiency in Golang.

• Familiarity with object-oriented backend environments.

• Experience in developing, testing, and maintaining distributed systems and microservices.

• Proficient in Golang; familiarity with Node.js/Java depending on the subsystem; native development experience with C/C++/Java.

• Experience with RESTful and gRPC APIs.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS cloud infrastructure.

• Basic experience with applications or scripts that interact with native OS frameworks.

• Knowledge of Swift, Objective-C, or C++ is an advantage.

• Familiarity with automated CI/CD pipelines like GitHub Actions.

• Strong command of Go, Java, Python, TypeScript, or other programming languages.

• Experience in distributed systems environments.

• Solid understanding of software engineering design principles and patterns.

• Experience working with geographically diverse engineering teams in a remote-first setting.

• Knowledge of device enrollment, including Apple MDM/DDM/ADE, Android Enterprise, or Windows MDM protocols, is highly valued.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Strong troubleshooting abilities and capability to work with ambiguity and provide clarity.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and collaborative environment while adhering to processes and best practices.

• Proficient in spoken and written English.

• Must reside in and be authorized to work in India.
