Staff Software Engineer, AI Governance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and develop product features that elevate the standard for remote development in self-hosted environments.

• Create and enhance popular open-source projects that integrate with VS Code, JetBrains, and other developer tools.

• Advocate for best practices to both internal team members and external contributors.

• Collaborate with Product and Design teams at Coder, as well as with partners like JetBrains, to implement key product integrations.

• Document the design, implementation, and operation of systems for knowledge sharing within the team.

• Partner with Customer Success teams to support Coder’s enterprise user base.

• Utilize advanced AI technologies to deliver seamless and efficient developer experiences.

• Quickly iterate from prototype to implementation in a highly agile and responsive team environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of full-stack experience in a professional setting, with at least 1 year of experience in writing Go (preferably in your current or most recent role).

• Expertise in building distributed systems using Go.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Outstanding debugging and troubleshooting abilities, coupled with the determination to drive solutions to completion.

• A self-motivated individual with a creative and analytical mindset.
