Staff Software Engineer, AI Code Review – Python, Go, Rust, C#

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Analyze AI-generated coding interactions from start to finish

• Evaluate the coherence of responses and the utility of preambles and reasoning

• Assess if outputs reflect sound engineering judgment

• Review the quality of explanations and reasoning, in addition to the code itself

• Differentiate between various levels of response quality

• Offer clear and constructive feedback on what was effective, what was lacking, and what seemed misleading

• Assist in defining what exemplary interactions should look like for tools like Cursor

• Determine if AI coding agents effectively guide users and foster trust

⛳️ Requirements

• Highly skilled software engineer at a Senior+ level

• Experience as a Staff / Principal-level engineer or equivalent

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript / JavaScript or Python

• Practical experience with OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, and Cursor

• Extensive knowledge of contemporary AI-assisted development workflows

• Capable of evaluating code without needing to execute or thoroughly review every line

• At ease providing direct and opinionated feedback

• Maintain high standards for engineering quality

• Complete a take-home evaluation exercise

• Participate in one behavioral interview
