📋 Description

• Explore innovative methods that merge top-tier heuristics with optimization techniques.

• Convert practical supply chain management scenarios into mathematical frameworks.

• Spearhead the design and execution of mathematical models.

• Establish testing strategies and create detailed testing plans.

• Develop unit tests, integration tests, and debugging procedures to guarantee robust and error-free software.

• Create, enhance, and manage automated testing scripts for functional, regression, and performance evaluations.

• Collaborate extensively with agile team members and various stakeholders.

• Influence the future trajectory of Kinaxis as it expands into new markets.

• Recognize opportunities to expedite the software development lifecycle through AI and other tools.

• Maintain architectural integrity, secure design, and high code quality standards.

• Assess AI-generated code for accuracy, architectural compatibility, integration risks, and support for edge cases.


⛳️ Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• Over 7 years of experience in software development.

• Proven history of delivering commercial software solutions.

• Expertise in one or more contemporary programming languages, such as C++, C#, or Python.

• Familiarity with C++, including object-oriented design, design patterns, and unit testing.

• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.

• Experience in developing mathematical models for real-world optimization challenges.

• Proficient with commercial solvers like Gurobi, Xpress, or CPLEX.

• Capability to design, develop, and maintain automated testing scripts for functional, regression, and performance assessments.

• Ability to enhance the SDLC through innovative uses of AI or other tools while ensuring architectural consistency, secure design, and code quality standards.

• Competence in rigorously reviewing AI-generated code for accuracy, architectural fit, integration risks, and edge-case handling.

• Willingness to work across various programming languages.

• Knowledge of machine learning models and algorithms is a plus.
