This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the catalog strategy across various catalog segments.
• Develop and sustain a well-structured catalog of entities across service branches, countries, and periods, monitoring completion, freshness, and data reliability.
• Collaborate with Customer Relations to transform customer and field feedback into a prioritized catalog roadmap.
• Investigate sources and establish governing principles for the creation of human and AI entities.
• Research, adopt, or create defensible formulas for weapon effects, sensor effects, fuel consumption, survivability, and other performance models.
• Justify modeling choices to customers and subject matter experts while collaborating with Engineering on implementation.
• Build and maintain a network of subject matter experts.
• Direct AI-agent workflows for initial research, data entry, and documentation on a large scale.
• Design prompts, review processes, and guidelines for analysts and their agents.
• Define requirements for workflow-enhancing tools and collaborate with Engineering to develop them.
• Lead the verification, validation, and accreditation processes across catalog segments.
• Oversee the development of automated test batteries and work alongside Engineering for continuous catalog testing.
• Organize and facilitate competitive wargames to test entities and assumptions rigorously.
• Analyze the catalog and promote ongoing enhancements.
• Establish documentation standards and write internal and external knowledge articles that clarify model logic and sourcing.
• Provide training and mentorship to analysts on tradecraft, rubrics, and verification, validation, and accreditation methods.
• Strong research and analytical capabilities, exhibiting sound judgment when source data is incomplete or contradictory.
• Proven ability to guide AI agents through clear directives, review checkpoints, and error detection mechanisms.
• Proficient in quantitative modeling and verifying formulas related to weapon effects, fuel usage, and survivability.
• Excellent organizational skills to maintain a catalog/tracking system encompassing hundreds of items.
• Effective and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• A wargamer's perspective and concern for simulation precision.
• Comfortable acting as the escalation point for disputable technical decisions and defending them to customers or subject matter experts.
• Experience with game modding tools, editors, or simulation authoring environments (preferred).
• Experience collaborating with engineering on test automation or quality assurance tooling (preferred).
• Familiarity with military doctrine, force structure, or platform performance data (preferred).
• Background in version control and bug-tracking systems (preferred).
• Experience in mentoring, training, or establishing technical standards adopted by other analysts or contributors (preferred).
