Staff Product Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Explore mobile and web application technologies to comprehend feature development and proactively seek out vulnerabilities.

• Safeguard cloud-native applications and implement security best practices throughout the cloud environment.

• Conduct threat modeling and provide guidance to developers on secure design principles.

• Address vulnerabilities through strategic initiatives, patches, and actionable vulnerability tickets.

• Serve as a subject matter expert in various security domains, particularly Application Security.

• Facilitate secure development by minimizing unnecessary gatekeeping and restrictions.

• Mentor and guide junior engineers.

• Incorporate security tools and automation into CI/CD pipelines to detect vulnerabilities early.

• Articulate security concerns to product owners, engineers, VPs, and executives while advocating for remediation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of Application Security.

• Familiarity with Secure Enclave, URL Schemes, Universal Links, presigned S3 URLs, and secure storage mechanisms for contemporary browsers.

• Proficient understanding of Burp Suite or another attack proxy.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

• Documented security work through a blog, public speaking engagements, bug bounty profile, or Git repository.

• Capability to create proof-of-concept scripts.

• Practical experience in securing cloud-native applications.

• Strong interest in security and robust software development processes.
