This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Lead the go-to-market strategy for IonQ’s Space Solutions portfolio within the Quantum Platform.
• Define and refine the narrative, positioning, and messaging tailored to various customer segments and buyer personas.
• Assist in the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for SAR Solutions and Mission Solutions.
• Collaborate with product management, mission design, engineering, sales, and technical leadership to prioritize launches and communicate the roadmap.
• Create both customer-facing and internal content, including messaging frameworks, solution narratives, thought leadership pieces, web copy, sales enablement materials, technical briefs, one-pagers, case studies, campaign content, and launch documentation.
• Oversee and enhance AI-enabled go-to-market systems, which encompass domain-specific agents, knowledge repositories, competitive intelligence, product information, proof points, Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs), and approved messaging.
• Utilize AI-driven workflows for generating content, gathering competitive intelligence, executing launches, enabling sales, and creating customer-facing materials.
• Foster cross-functional alignment among product teams, engineering, sales, mission design, corporate marketing, communications, and enablement.
• Manage competitive and market intelligence, translating insights into actionable go-to-market recommendations.
• Act as the voice of the customer in go-to-market strategies, positioning, launch planning, and product-related decisions.
• Collaborate with sales enablement on battle cards, objection handling, training materials, customer presentations, demo narratives, technical talk tracks, and strategic deal support.
• Contribute to scalable product marketing processes, frameworks, and operational infrastructure.
• 5–8+ years of experience in B2B or B2G product marketing, solutions marketing, technical marketing, strategy, or go-to-market roles in relevant sectors such as space, defense, aerospace, geospatial intelligence, satellite, national security, deep-tech, or related markets.
• Direct experience in the space industry is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ownership of go-to-market strategies and successful launch execution.
• Working knowledge of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), Earth observation, satellite systems, hosted payloads, mission solutions, space infrastructure, defense/intelligence missions, sovereign space capabilities, or geospatial data.
• Outstanding writing and content development skills for technical and customer-facing documents.
• Strong communication skills across customers, partners, executives, product leaders, engineers, mission teams, and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across product, engineering, sales, marketing, mission design, and leadership roles.
• Strong commercial instincts paired with strategic thinking abilities.
• Experience in nascent, emerging, or rapidly evolving markets.
• Proficiency in building, maintaining, or operationalizing AI-enabled workflows, knowledge systems, agents, or automation frameworks.
• Capability to structure product, customer, mission, and market information to enhance output quality and business value.
• Highly organized and self-motivated; capable of managing multiple strategic and executional workstreams.
