Staff Product Manager, Search Experiences

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish and propel the product strategy and roadmap for search functionalities within the Firefox Desktop browser, enhancing search engagement and driving revenue.

• Oversee comprehensive experimentation across browser search access points, default search experiences, and search suggestions.

• Collaborate with Data Science to define explicit success metrics and convert insights into actionable strategies.

• Work alongside Business Development to support search partnerships and ensure that product execution is in alignment with contractual and strategic commitments.

• Partner with Engineering, Research, and Design teams to prototype and deliver innovative search experiences.

• Manage trade-offs between user experience, privacy principles, technical limitations, and revenue outcomes.

• Contribute to quarterly and annual planning by identifying risks, opportunities, and long-term strategic initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in product management, including ownership of revenue-impacting and user-facing product domains.

• Background in search, discovery, AI/ML-driven products, or related areas.

• Strong comprehension of contemporary AI capabilities and their implications for products.

• Proven track record in leading experimentation initiatives and achieving measurable business results.

• Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in product analytics tools and SQL.

• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.

• Demonstrated capability to balance user requirements, privacy considerations, and business goals.

• Outstanding communication skills and comfort in engaging with senior stakeholders.
