This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Establish the strategic vision for the product team.

• Develop product roadmaps that align with Civica’s strategic objectives.

• Supervise other product managers.

• Collaborate with teams in product design, user research, engineering, commercial, marketing, and customer success.

• Cultivate and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, market dynamics, and business objectives.

• Define and enhance the product roadmap.

• Conduct customer interviews, surveys, and market research.

• Specify and prioritize product requirements for engineering.

• Manage the product development lifecycle from conception to launch.

• Ensure the timely delivery of product features and releases.

• Plan and implement product launches in conjunction with the Product Marketing team.

• Create launch plans, positioning strategies, and messaging frameworks.

• Analyze product performance data and key metrics.

• Identify areas for improvement and make data-driven product decisions.

• Promote knowledge sharing and maintain documentation for product decisions and designs.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of pertinent product management experience in a contemporary software or product-led organization.

• Strong analytical abilities to identify market opportunities and address complex product-related challenges.

• Proficiency in navigating and managing product lifecycle complexities.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Capability to understand customer needs, challenges, and motivations.

• Skill in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data for product decision-making.

• Ability to prioritize features, requirements, and tasks based on customer needs, business objectives, and technical viability.

• Experience in constructing and executing product roadmaps and strategies that resonate with customer needs and company objectives.

• Competence in collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success.

• Adaptability to changing market circumstances, customer requirements, and business priorities.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities.

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.

• Ability to communicate product vision, value, and benefits clearly to stakeholders.

• Experience in leading geographically distributed teams.

• Background in market research, competitive analysis, and market trend evaluation.

• Understanding of UX design principles and human-centered design methodologies.

• Experience with cloud-based technologies such as SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS.
