This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Collaborate with leadership in Real World Data and senior stakeholders to enhance and implement the product roadmap.
• Convert product strategy into a clear product vision, requirements, specifications, and execution plans.
• Work alongside business leaders, business development, marketing teams, and stakeholders to articulate use cases and create products for new customer demographics.
• Determine product requirements, dependencies, risks, and factors for implementation.
• Assist in developing business cases and conducting return-on-investment evaluations.
• Prepare and present strategic initiatives, business value, and technical concepts effectively.
• Keep track of emerging technologies, market trends, and innovations pertinent to Real World Data products.
• Direct product development activities throughout the entire product lifecycle.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog.
• Identify resource needs and support product development activities.
• Coordinate planning for releases and establish timelines for delivery.
• Clarify requirements and delivery expectations with technical teams, business partners, and subject matter experts.
• Facilitate decision-making, validate requirements, and optimize workflows.
• Report on product progress, risks, issues, and mitigation plans to stakeholders and leadership.
• Act as the main point of contact for product requirements, feature definitions, and inquiries related to the product.
• Manage product documentation, requirements, and accompanying materials.
• Ensure that products and features meet specified requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Advocate for Agile methodologies and foster continuous improvement.
• Initiate process improvement efforts to enhance operational efficiency and stakeholder collaboration.
• High school diploma or GED with 9 or more years of experience in data product development, product ownership, product management, or business analysis; or an Associate degree with 7 or more years of relevant experience; or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Mathematics, Statistics, or Life Sciences with 5 or more years of applicable experience.
• At least 2 years of experience utilizing tools and methodologies for requirements management, backlog prioritization, or Agile workflows.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in developing products using Real World Data in the life sciences or healthcare sector.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience using project lifecycle management tools such as Jira or Confluence.
• At least 2 years of experience with regulations and compliance standards related to Real World Data and Real World Evidence.
• Familiarity with Real World Data (RWD), Real World Evidence (RWE), and the healthcare or life sciences sector.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, data privacy regulations, AI governance principles, and relevant industry standards.
• Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Capability to convey technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficient in stakeholder engagement, facilitation, negotiation, and consensus-building.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Permanent authorization to work in the United States without future employer sponsorship.
• Preferred: Master's degree in a related field with 3 or more years of experience; 2 or more years involved in business cases, product strategy, or roadmap planning; experience with healthcare, life sciences, clinical, laboratory, claims, or other real-world healthcare datasets; Agile product development experience; experience with AI-enabled tools.
