Staff Product Manager, Search Experiences

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Establish and lead the product strategy and roadmap for search functionalities within the Firefox Desktop browser, enhancing search engagement and driving revenue growth.

• Oversee comprehensive experimentation across browser search entry points, default search experiences, and search recommendations.

• Collaborate with Data Science to define clear success metrics and convert insights into actionable strategies.

• Work alongside Business Development to facilitate search partnerships and ensure that product execution aligns with contractual obligations and strategic goals.

• Partner with Engineering, Research, and Design teams to prototype and deliver innovative search experiences.

• Manage trade-offs between user experience, privacy standards, technical limitations, and revenue objectives.

• Participate in quarterly and annual planning, recognizing risks, opportunities, and long-term strategic initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of product management experience, particularly in revenue-impacting and user-facing product domains.

• Background in search, discovery, AI/ML-powered products, or related fields.

• Strong grasp of contemporary AI capabilities and their implications for product development.

• Demonstrated experience in leading experimentation programs and achieving measurable business results.

• Proficient analytical skills and familiarity with product analytics tools and SQL.

• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.

• Proven ability to balance user requirements, privacy considerations, and business goals.

• Exceptional communication skills with a comfort level for engaging with senior stakeholders.
