This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +16 more states.
• Establish and take ownership of the vision and multi-quarter roadmap for CharterUP’s pricing systems.
• Recognize and prioritize high-impact opportunities to enhance marketplace performance, foster operator trust, and improve customer outcomes.
• Collaborate with engineering to consistently enhance pricing infrastructure, accuracy, transparency, experimentation, and scalability.
• Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of operator behavior, pricing dynamics, and supply-side signals.
• Convert strategic objectives into precise requirements, user stories, and product specifications.
• Partner with engineering and design teams to deliver high-quality products that positively impact key metrics.
• Work alongside data science to measure pricing outcomes, design experiments, and translate analytical insights into product decisions.
• Establish and monitor success metrics for pricing initiatives.
• Communicate strategy and progress updates to executive leadership, sales, and operations teams.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, design, sales, and operations to align priorities and drive execution.
• Influence the organization as a senior product leader.
• Report directly to the Chief Product Officer.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in product management.
• Proven experience in owning complex, systems-level domains.
• Demonstrated experience in driving at least one large-scale transformation.
• Experience in marketplace, pricing, supply/demand infrastructure, or two-sided platforms is highly advantageous.
• Capacity to navigate ambiguity and make decisions with incomplete information.
• Ability to translate technical intricacies into business clarity and convert business strategies into engineering priorities.
• Sound understanding of pricing systems, marketplace algorithms, and supply/demand infrastructure.
• Ability to engage deeply with engineers on architectural decisions and trade-offs.
• Understanding of pricing, fleet supply, margin, and operator behavior dependencies.
• Comfort with data, including interpreting SQL output, reviewing experimental results, analyzing model outputs, and critically evaluating analytical claims.
• Knowledge of two-sided marketplace dynamics, operator economics, margin structures, and customer price sensitivity.
