Staff Product Manager, Network Observability

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the NetBox Labs Observability features and products.

• Transform product strategy into a detailed, prioritized roadmap.

• Manage products from their definition through to general availability and iterations across both Cloud and Enterprise deployments.

• Act as a subject matter expert in network observability, telemetry collection, modeling, and operator workflows.

• Convert technical capabilities into tangible business value for customers, sales teams, customer success, and leadership.

• Provide go-to-market teams with effective positioning, demonstrations, and technical training.

• Create prototypes to address product inquiries and validate concepts with engineering and customers.

• Engage with customers and prospects during discovery, technical pre-sales discussions, and design partner programs.

• Collaborate with Discovery and Assurance teams to create cohesive platform offerings.

• Define and manage Observability success metrics, using them to inform roadmap decisions.

• Report directly to the Director of Product.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7-10+ years of leadership experience in product management within B2B software.

• 3+ years of experience with technically complex products such as networking, infrastructure, observability, security, or developer platforms.

• Proven product experience in network observability, monitoring, or telemetry.

• Proficiency in SNMP, streaming telemetry (gNMI), flow data (NetFlow, sFlow, IPFIX), and OpenTelemetry.

• Comfortable navigating a codebase; able to script against APIs, create prototypes, and review pull requests.

• Capability to translate intricate technical details into business value for both technical and executive audiences.

• Demonstrated success in managing products throughout their entire lifecycle.

• Strong ability to influence cross-functionally among engineering, customer success, and go-to-market teams.

• Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and establish structure.

• Experience with open-source products and communities is a plus.

• Familiarity with network automation or source-of-truth tools is an advantage.

• Experience in delivering products both on-premises and as SaaS is a plus.

• Knowledge of device discovery or inventory ingestion pipelines is an additional bonus.
