This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Identify unmet opportunities within the healthcare market and develop strategic product capabilities.
• Work closely with the Director of Product Management to shape product strategy and positioning.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, leadership, and various stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
• Partner with Technical Product Managers to prioritize tasks and translate business requirements into development backlogs.
• Conduct competitive research and perform market analysis.
• Assist in creating product communication materials, sales strategies, training, and demonstrations.
• Lead webinars and presentations at industry events.
• Advocate for product features and roadmaps to both internal teams and external clients.
• Facilitate customer discussions to validate the strategic direction.
• Champion healthcare data capabilities that are pertinent to payer and provider workflows.
• Over 7 years of experience in Product Management, Product Strategy, Health Informatics, or a similar role focused on driving software product development.
• Extensive knowledge of the healthcare industry.
• Proven track record of identifying market gaps and delivering complex software products or platforms in healthcare settings.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work collaboratively across sales, marketing, design, and engineering teams.
• Demonstrated experience in facilitating meetings and communications with executive-level clients, prospects, and partners.
• Strong critical thinking abilities coupled with a creative, solution-oriented approach.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and focused on results.
• Excellent time management and both written and verbal communication skills.
• Technical expertise and familiarity with healthcare interoperability (FHIR, HL7 v2, CDA), terminology standards (LOINC, SNOMED, ICD-10), RESTful API standards, and modern stack architectures (Java, Kubernetes, Postgres, Kafka) are considered a significant advantage.
• Experience working with engineering and architecture teams in cloud-native environments, along with familiarity with CI/CD or Software Release cycles, is considered a strong asset.
