Staff Product Manager, Community Builders

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify key opportunities for the advancement of communities on Reddit and develop a clear product strategy and roadmap.

• Spearhead community experiences from inception through to launch, learning, and scalability.

• Cultivate a deep understanding of members, contributors, community organizers, and the dynamics of healthy communities.

• Convert user and ecosystem insights into exceptional product experiences.

• Evaluate ecosystem trade-offs, including their effects on community health, contribution quality, and member trust.

• Establish goals, success metrics, milestones, and learning plans that align user value with Reddit’s overarching strategy.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Data, Research, and cross-functional teams to navigate product trade-offs and execution.

• Clearly communicate strategy, decisions, trade-offs, and insights to senior stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Staff-level experience in consumer products, owning significant product surfaces or systems with measurable user impact.

• Outstanding product sense, including keen user intuition, problem framing, prioritization, UX judgment, and product aesthetics.

• Proven track record in leading ambiguous zero-to-one projects or significant product evolution from strategy to launch and learning.

• Experience in shaping product initiatives across diverse surfaces, user journeys, teams, or within a larger consumer ecosystem.

• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to define success metrics, interpret data, and pivot when necessary.

• Excellent cross-functional leadership capabilities with Design, Engineering, Data, Research, and partner teams.

• Preferred: Experience with community, social, creator, UGC, or marketplace products.

• Preferred: Experience in shaping user participation, identity, contribution, belonging, or reputation.

• Preferred: Experience in evolving established product systems or designing for multi-sided ecosystems with varied user needs and incentives.
