Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the product backlog, translating product priorities into organized initiatives, requirements, and deliverables.

• Collaborate with the Lead Product Manager and Engineering Manager to plan product delivery, overseeing scope, priorities, dependencies, and delivery risks.

• Outline product requirements and business logic for exchange, execution, liquidity, and pricing features.

• Lead the progression of features from requirements to production while coordinating with Engineering and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Enhance exchange and trading capabilities, including order execution, smart order routing, liquidity-provider integrations, RFQ/Market/Limit order models, and execution optimization.

• Assist with internal trading tools, encompassing Internal Matching, Inventory Management, hedging logic, and related risk controls.

• Collaborate on pricing and revenue functionalities, including markup policies, commissions, execution costs, and pricing configurations.

• Engage in liquidity-provider integrations with technology partners and institutional venues.

• Track product and trading metrics, identifying opportunities for execution quality, liquidity, and profitability enhancements alongside the Product Data Analyst.

• Manage stakeholder expectations, issues, and timelines across Treasury, Finance, Processing, Operations, Compliance, and other product teams.

• Investigate product issues, propose improvements, and ensure that product logic remains clear and quantifiable.

• Guide features from problem identification through launch and subsequent optimization utilizing metrics and analytics.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of Product Management experience, ideally within B2B, B2B2C, fintech, or technically intricate platform products.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering complex features, from problem identification and requirements through to production launch and further enhancements.

• Skill in converting business challenges into clear business logic, product requirements, and acceptance criteria.

• Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams and a solid understanding of API and data-driven products and integrations.

• Strong capabilities in backlog management, prioritization, and delivery management.

• Proficiency in working with data and product metrics to assess product performance and inform decision-making.

• Knowledge of financial product economics, encompassing revenue, fees, costs, margins, and P/L.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, especially concerning complex workflows and edge cases.

• Experience in coordinating multiple stakeholders and managing cross-team dependencies.

• Capability to thrive in a highly technical, complex, and operationally sensitive product environment.

• Proficient in English at B2 level or higher.

• Experience in the trading domain is a plus, including exposure to crypto exchanges, institutional digital-asset trading, Forex/FX platforms, OTC trading, liquidity providers, market makers, brokers/prime brokers, trading venues, crypto payment or exchange products, treasury or liquidity-management platforms, or trading infrastructure/execution-management systems.

• Familiarity with order books, bid/ask and market depth, RFQ, Market and Limit Orders, liquidity providers and market makers, slippage and execution quality, Smart Order Routing, spreads, markups and trading commissions, hedging and market exposure, inventory and position management, execution internalization/internal matching, Exchange and Trading P/L, settlement, and reconciliation is beneficial.
